- I'm interested in what is going to happen to all of the people who sent her money to pay for her hospital bills and plastic surgery.There was a public outpouring of pity (no doubt her intent) and my own aunt sent her a $100 check to go towards re-constructive surgery. So very sad...

Self-Inflicted? Aside from this 'infliction' becoming an admission demonstrating how emotionally sick and irrational one can become in this life......I am truly sick of "the black guy/girl did it" theory/story! Her blatant sick actions and lies also demonstrate how deep racism continues to run in this generation and in this country! This young lady has been sick for a very long time and throwing acid in your own face to gain attention is indicative of how we are failing our young people as a nation. She could have been my daughter, your sister, etc. What can we do different as a society? What can we do differently as family, teachers, churches, government, as individuals?
